I was thinking about hitting the rocks tomorrow; just curious if anyone's been over there lately. _________________ I'd rather be fishing |

Matt,
It's been a little slow on the North Jetty. The Trout I have been catching have been nice just have not found a pattern. W/ the north wind, I would try Tombstone and the hole at the end on the channel side.(you know where it is) Super slow retrieve bumping off the rocks and the bite has been super soft.
Pink if the water is medium to clear and 10" purple bass worms if it is dirty. Don't be afraid of the dirty water, my best Trout the last couple of weeks have been in super dirty muddy water.

Thanks for the report. I went over about three weeks ago, and managed one dink out of that hole on the end (long worm).
Taking the girlfriend tomorrow though, so will be doing my usual shrimp thing
BTW, I think those jetty boots Frank's buddy was wearing were called Korker's. He said you had asked about them. _________________ I'd rather be fishing |
