Let me preface.
This was a day in November, where the bottom weeds were bad, the red tide had just moved off and the current was ripping toward the south. In other words, we were catching nothing. My two fishing buddies, though, had not lost hope and were patiently waiting for the bite. After all summer catching whiting like crazy, they hadn't lost the thrill of the catch and wanted very much to catch something that day. I'll never forget it.

I've got three boys. the third was off camera eating sand. He's not into fishing yet.
