ALRIGHT HERE IT IS BOYS ... LETS SEE WHAT U THINK...

FEBURARY 20 2010, 6 AM START 3-4 PM CHECK IN ...
10 DOLLARS EARLY REGISTRATION
15 THE WEEK BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT (LATE REGISTRATION)

EVERYONE PARTICIPATING MUST HAVE IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO A CAMERA TO PHOTOGRAPH CONTENDING FISH...(WETHER ITS ONE ON THE BOAT OR EACH PERSON HAS ONE ... IT DONT MATTER THE FISH MUST BE PHOTOGRAPHED)

THERE WILL BE 2 ITEMS GIVEN TO EACH PERSON AT START OF THE TOURNEY A SECERET ITEM TO BE IN THE PHOTOGRAPH WITH/NEXT TO THE FISH. IF THAT ITEM IS NOT IN THE PICTURE THAT PICTURE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED... AND A TRASH BAG FOR U TO STOP AND PICK UP TRASH SOME WHERE .. AND WE ALL KNOW THAT THERE IS TRASH SOME WHERE OUT THERE... IF U DONT BRING UR BAG U WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE WEIGH IN ... U ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THROWING UR BAG AWAY.

THIS IS NOT LIMITED TO BOAT FISHIN ONLY .. KAYAK, WADEING, JETTIES, SURF WHERE EVER.. JUST BE LEGAL AND USE ROD AND REEL ONLY ...THE CONTENDING FISH MUST BE RELEASED AND A PHOTO MUST BE TAKEN OF RELEASE. ANY NON CONTENDING FISH MAY BE TAKEN. BY ENTERING U ARE ALLOWING UR BOAT TO BE SEARCHED FOR CONTENDING FISH. IF IT IS FOUND IN UR POSSESION ... U ARE DISQUALIFIED.... WINNING FISH WILL NEED 3 PHOTOS ... ONE WITH FISHERMAN ONE ON MEASURING STICK AND ONE BEING RELEASED... THE ONE WITH FISHERMAN WILL BE FOR WEBSITE AND OTHER 2 WILL BE FOR JUDGING.

PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN TO THE LONGEST:
1ST 2ND REDFISH 20''-32'' YES 32'' IM IN CHARGE REMEMBER...
1ST 2ND TROUT 15''-NO LIMIT
1ST 2ND FLOUNDER 14''-NO LIMIT
PRIZES DEPEND ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES AND WHERE MONEY IS GOING AND ALL THAT GOOD INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED AT THE WEIGH IN FOR EVERY ONE TO SEE...

EX 30 ENTRIES AT 10 DOLLARS A POP=300 FOR PRIZES THEN THE MONEY WILL BE DIVIDED UP AMONG THE WINNERS OF THE THREE CATIGORIES TROUT 100 DOLLARS RED 100 DOLLARS FLOUNDER 100 DOLLARS ...
1ST GETTIN 60 PERCENT=60DOLLARS
2ND GETTING 40 PERCENT 40 DOLLARS

IF THAT WERE TO BE THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MONEY COLLECTED...

Only problem I see is that your should not be keeping any other fish that are not part of the tourny. If it's a CPR tournament, then all fish caught should be released.

I'll play.. Just make sure you put in a clause if two people catch a 32" redfish who wins? The first person to get the photo to the judges?? Or a split pot?

and if I was to do it I would say 10 dollars per species you want to enter..

im liking it. My only problem is that I strictly wade (no boat or yak) and usually solo, so unless I keep the fish, its tough for me to carry a camera to photo and release.

3 solutions:
a) Sapo makes me one of those fine head cams of his Laughing

b) somebody with a waterproof came comes with me, could always use a partner in crime
c) I'd be more then happy to join somebodys boat! (supply bevs/food/bait)

I would like to see a prize for largest Skipjack. I'd have a chance at that one.

makin a prize for most trash brought in is a very good idea... ill consider that ... as for the skipjacks ... i know i would take that first place so i dont want u guys to think i made a category that i know i would win... and on the kayak u can take a camera in a zip lock bag and double bag it ... i know it would be tough to take a pic of ur self but just reach over and snap a pic with u and the fish, however takin some one with u would probably be easier and safer... im sure by then u may find a buddy or maybe even be able to go on a boat with some one ... if 2 ppl catch the same size fish i say it would be fair to split the pot for that division 50-50...

Alcohol would have to be allowed in this tournament, would increase size of trash (cans/bottles added) brought in.

I got it....The weigh -in will be at IMS house. Directions are-take IMS parkway to IMS drive...HE HE!!!

oh yeah ... the reason i say if u wanna keep fish that are not contenders ... is cause i understand that some ppl are gonna be putting 50 dollars of gas and all the other expenses that it takes to participate in an event like this ... and if they wanna take some food home for the ol' lady i dont have a problem with that ... and yes bluffer u can drink what u want as long as u buy it lol..

Sounds cool and I agree 10 bucks for each species. I think CPR is great but maybe just a token or something on your check it stick. I can't take a pic of myself in a yak? and make it individual.
