Focus on water

I would like to express my appreciation of the column by David Sikes on July 27, about various effects of the water management program.

Although I am neither a fisherman nor a hunter, I always look for his byline, as he writes logically and clearly about conservation matters and why they are important to all of us.

Once again, this column helps to educate us all to enable us to set priorities. We all should appreciate his thoughtful work.
