I will never announce my vacation in the future!!! Talk about crappy weather. I get there and it's a record high with 20-25 mph winds. Then the winds go up to 25 - 30 w/ 40 gusts. Then more wind and some rain. First, Robul and I tried to hook up, to no avail. Then tried to get with Mike S. with the same result. It's always great to get back to Texas and I spent more time with my Dad, so all worked out well. I just spent to much $$$ at Academy and at the Sea Fair in Rockport.

yeah man what luck we had.  Sorry we couldnt make it.. My freakign phone decided to stop working thursday night also. Still cant make a call. I had the boat all ready and hooked up only to get crapped out!! Man I wanted to go bad on friday I sat and watched the radar from 6 am to 3 in the afternoon and no windows opened.. then saturday wasnt soo bad but I had to work. Next time for sure!! But we need to plan like 5 days One has to be good! |

UPDATE!!!!!!
The wife and I are going to New Orleans next week. And guess what???? We're going to Venice on Thursday to fish!!!!!!!! Maybe I can double down and REALLY catch 'em!!!!!!!!!!
