| I booked a trip in mid november at Dos Plumas ranch just west of Abeline. Just wondering if any one Has hunted there before. I will be Bowhunting only and i am doing the safari package which includes 1-Exotic (Axis or Blackbuck) 1- Ram and 2-pigs. Any feed back would be great. |

I have been hunting ENE of Abilene for 20 seasons this year. I do not know the ranch but that area has just as good if not better deer than south Texas when you consider the amount of management that is done down here vs up there. Most landowners up there still try to make money off of cattle and manage accordingly. Its a great area hope you have fun.
