OK tHIS IS THE LAST WEEK FOR DROPPING STUFF OFF FOR THE bAGHDAD FISHING CLUB. I set the final date for the 4th of Sept. I figure that during the following week i will clean up and start packing stuff for the shipment. Robul how are things going over there with you? I figure we will be shipping UPS from Robs place of business. I have recieved alot of stuff for the troops ...we'll it's alot to me anyway. I might lay it all out and take a snapshot and post it up. Hey, frayed I bought all snelled hooks, and jigheads with the cash plus I have a reciept for you. That was alot of hooks. I have never bought so many at one time. I would like todo something for the troops in Afganistan but I think they don't have alot of water over there and its abit more violent. They can go fishing when they get back. This is just a heads up on whats going on.....ya'll have a good one. IMS

Got curious when I read your comments about Afghanistan fishing. You're right not much water but they do have some. Not sure about the fishing.

Is there anything on the soldiers' wish list that hasn't been donated yet?
Do you need any boxes, bubble wrap, tape, labels for packing?

Here is another thought....I bet the soldiers would enjoy getting some notes from those of us here at home, and maybe some pictures of some of the fish being caught here. Anyone wanting to send a note...if you will send the note to me (fishing lady) at nsmith002@stx.rr.com, I'll be happy to print them out and put them in envelopes to be included in packages. I'll even print out fish pictures, but they will be in black and white [no color printer here]

Ihave some donated cash for shipping purposes, I plan on using the for packing purposes. I will buy some bubble wrap,boxes. haven't thought about shipping labels, maybe someone could print some with the address on them...that would be nice.

you wont need shipping labels stan. I will do it on ups online it will print ou everything needed.. Just gotta punch in the wieght and my laser printer will spit out the labels.. Maybe the rain will die down if not we will figure something out..
