It was really great taking Friday off to do a little past due fishing with a really good friend I met up with the good Capt .Mike at about 0545 at Clems baitstand Friday morning we hugn there until it was light enough for our aging eyes to make things out such as pilings and other boats and then we blasted off south. It was one of those days where the winds were shifting, and grass was floating everywhere. We were tossing piggies and the bite was slow, Not just for us but others as the cell phone revealed, but hey, we ended up with 6 nice trout and most of all some good time spent together catchin up on the latest,plus i get to pick up on some good fishing tips.
A laguna madre rocket sled.
Yes he caught the biggest one, but ya'll knew that.
but I got the fillets, cause he knows I LIKE MINE FRIED.

Thank You for that report Stan and Nice fish BTW. I'm glad to see that you both took the day off for some long overdue R&R. It's never like work when I get to fish with a great fisherman....and friend
