Headed out by the t-heads in the yak ended up with 5 trout 16-20" 1 Drum and the biggest mangrove snapper I have ever seen. Caught Lots and Lots of snapper in the 10-12" range but threw them back along with lots of hardheads. About 1p.m. everything stopped and could not get a bite on anything. Fish were hitting live mullet, cut mullet, tiny perch, and live shrimp. Also i caught a 12" ribbon fish does anyone know if these are any good for bait? I tried cutting it up but only caught hardheads on them.

Nice catch. Thanks for the report and pics. Yes ribbonfish make good cut bait for the surf and for the offshore rigs. Very Happy
