Had a blast today with my son. Brought back 10 trout caught on sand eels and gulp under a popping cork. Had a 27, two 24's, a 22, and six between 18 and 19. The trip back was interesting. Try coming back in a 30 mph north wind in a ranger phantom. It sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell me I wasn't the only idiot down there when the wind changed diection.

I'll post a couple of pics later.

Here they are. They turned on about 2. We left them biting when I realized the wind had turned from the north.

The 3 largest fish were the fattest fish that size that I have ever seen.

A front came through today with winds gusting close to 40 mph and slowly dropping temps. It's supposed to be 28 degrees tomorrow night!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

I guess that I'll have to cover the peach and apple trees............................
