Just thinking...Laguna Shores is currently a construction nightmare. Dust, potholes, construction signs, and on and on. After its partial completion, the overall road will take us to the same places as before, and we will forget the hassles of these present detours. Got me to thinking we all need to reflect on our service men and women who alter their entire lives in order to keep our "roads" familiar and heading on the same paths. God bless and thanks to ALL who have served US. IMS, I did not ask to use your initials (too lazy), but I know people have the utmost respect for you, so what the heck...let's rename Laguna Shores!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I like that, " IMS Parkway", maybe I should run for some type of office here in the Bluff. I'd just about do anything right now for a job change. I'm getting tired of working for the sausage express.

Thanks cheflefty, alot of folks do have respect for me, but I have double respect for them. I need a sponsor, a new boat, and a gps. I would be happy fishing full time if there was a guaranteed paycheck every 2 weeks.

If I'am elected Mayor of Flourbluff, I will repair Laguna Shores rd all the way down, fix all the pot holes , install 2 more free boat ramps, and re-build the Porch Bar, of which I will help work part time. The bluff will become...."THE BLUFF" . Very Happy

Living here in San Antonio I can't vote in your elections. How about I vote for you for Gov or even President?

I am going to miss going around the closed flooded road signs per Porfetus's suggestion and almost getting busted.

Porkfetus played dead, "it was his only defense" when the constable pulled us over and asked if I could read Smile

so, taking chef lefty and tylers experience, we could have either called it the IMS Autobahn or IMS's Spray and Rust Road. Tyler could get in on the act and we could call it the Thorsen Roadway for People That Don't Read So Good. ( a splash of Zoolander mixed in there)

Ironman King Bluff Rat Blvd? I'm gonna get in trouble for that one when folks think about it.

IMS, forget the $5 an hour raise. I would appreciate back pay for overtime. I am in at 0400 (4a.m.) and instruct until 1700 (5p.m.) and have to deal with admin issues until they are completed. Some nights go until 2200. Add on field time (one week out of every six) and I'd end up with a boats worth of $$$$.
For all of you who thank us who serve, we appreciate all of your support. I'm sure we would say that we thouroughly enjoy serving our country. I know I have. I have seen all corners of the world in order to let you enjoy all of the freedoms our Constitution guarantees.

LOL, that's pretty much exactly how it happened, LOL. cruisin the sex wagon down laguna shores running over finger mullet swimming on the road. come on tyler, at least you have stories to tell your grandkids about your ne'er-do-well friends from the bluff. Razz

and thanks for the service guys, mucho appreciated Exclamation

To keep the theme going I was thinking about renaming Flour Bluff Drive -

"One Sandifer Way" with names like that, wineries and B and B's will start popping up spontaneously!

Wow, Mogen David & T-bird wines. Actually I prefered "Saturday Nite" and "Steppin Out". Good wines. Not great wines, but good wines. Very Happy
