We fished offshore with Capt. Ross and his son Russell on 8-12-09 on the ReelBeast. We spent most of the day trolling for pelagics, but the bite was slow with only one Wahoo that Mike brought to the gaff.
While fishing for Snaps, we spotted a nice Hammer Head, so Capt. Ross got a volunteer (Waco) and in less than a few minutes Russell had the bait rigged and the fight was on with an approx. 250# Hammer. The shark was released at the boat to fight another day. We caught a nice limit of Snaps with my personal best at a little over 18 lbs.
Capt. Ross and Russell make a great team and I would highly recommend them for a great day on the blue water. I plan on another trip this fall for tuna.
Thanks for a great time Capt. Ross. (Reelbeast.com)

Yes, Limits of snapper and Skipper caught a bunch of vermillion. Art caught a 6 foot plus shark and a 9lb and 12lb Red Snapper. Shawne and I got a couple of smallish keepers but had a blast anyway.

Looks like he was able to put yall on fish. Knowing snapper season is over, what does he turn to this time of year and what is the maximum amount of people and charge? Any surcharge? Looking for a guide to head offshore early next month. Any and all info would be appreicated.
