someone else mentioned this to me but the flavors just didn't seem to go together. I sprinkle some parmesan on there lightly but I guess I'm gonna have to give the slices a try.
I currently use Lawry's herb n garlic, baja chipotle and occasionally the DJ's brand at Heb for marinades. Any body else have some favorite bottled marinades for fish, always like to mix it up. Oh and for shrimp my favorite is a sweet chili sauce in the asian foods section. |

Y'all, if you've never heard of or tried Konriko Jalapeno seasoning, give it a shot IF you can find it. The best all around seasoning that I've ever tasted!!!!

Have a friend who puts Mayo on his scrambled eggs. First time I saw it I was really grossed out. He explained, "I have never liked eggs but did like scrambled egg sandwiches. I finally figured out it was the Mayo". Well, I LOVE a scrambled egg sandwich so I tried it out. It is actually pretty good. Still, would rather have salt & pepper and maybe a little hot sauce any day, but like I said, the Mayo is OK. Poor guy did get some wierd looks from waitresses when he tried that in a resturant. _________________ Big Ed

find to kill the taste, even mustard. 69-70 Viet-nam. And fish sandwich
the next day with a slice of cheese in the mico-wave mighty good |

I remember a cousin who used to lay some mayo on his beans, re fried or otherwise. Never tried it myself.
And I too sometimes will indulge myself with four scrambled eggs and nothing more than ketchup and a fork. |

Hey, I went to Disney world for a week and I tried to put just about anything on my eggs to give it some taste.... I eat breakfast tacos. I don't see how people from up north or other countries survie without Mexican food, Cajun Food or Cowboy food (Steak) _________________ Happy Hook'n

Try mixing equal parts of Mayo and Parmesan cheese. Season with garlic powder, spread on top and Broil!!!!!! _________________

When ya get tired of cheese whiz on your halfshell.....try a little Ragu sauce. Then get back with me. If that doesn't work your buds then splash a little e.v.o.o. and sprinkle some fajita seasoning all over that bad boy,see if that don't make you smile. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
