Wow so far flipped over suv, and $1100.00 worth of pot found 5 miles south of the park entrance, then the news reports that some of the cameras at the enterance were destroyed due to a vehicle accident on Friday. Wonder if the damage to the camers was intentional as to not capture the illegal activity the news just reported. News did not mention any vandalism like they did on the 12:00 news though.

The flipped SUV, was my neighbor across the street. It was a rental. He goes down there a bunch, so I am not sure how it happened.

I only know because his wife mentioned it...Adios

that was the the term...." sea weed" . Back then the law took it home. So did the fishermen. Little extra cash never hurts. Very Happy

I remember that, and had a funny experience at the beach when that was going on.

The water was very clear, and I was snorkeling at the surf pier. I was out past the third bar and saw several pieces of paper down near the bottom. I dove down and saw that it was U.S. currency!

Thinking that I was hot on the trail of a pile of $100 bills that the dopers had tossed overboard with their bundles of pot while being chased by Blue Thunder, I quickly grabbed three of the bills and looked closely at them.

When I saw George Washington looking back at me, I realized that it was just small bills that had floated out of some surfer's pocket.

I did end up with $7 though.

Just wanted to clarify, the 5:00 clock reported $1100.00 worth of pot, what I think they meant was 1100 pounds. Then on the 6:00 clock they reported 13 bundles weighing in at 1300 pounds worth about $835,000.00
over an 11 mile stretch of beach.
