I agree that the tow charge is outrageous. Secondly, there should be more parking at BIB. Our tax dollars and my yearly 30 dollars to the National Park and BIB should cover additional parking.

I have it on good info that PINS has decided to take no further action on the tickets (including my "revised" ticket) that we all got. Sure was looking forward to my due process. Also Sanford has been suspended from the rotation. The Texas Licensing Regulatory Authority has accepted charges and is "investigating" all our tows. State Comptroller and AG have open files and next week I hope to have him served with our lawsuit. Anybody want a wrecker?

Good one. I am new to the forum and it looks like things just might change. I have avoided the area due to the recent topics and even stopped to buy the pass on my way out a few months back - looks like it might be worth revisiting sometime soon.

if you really want to get back at em get about 10 people and 10 old broken down junk yard dogs that will barley move and bury them to the axle right where everybody drives and get out and walk away and let the park service pay to have them towed...junk yard dogs no owner no registration there stuck with em ...maybe sanford and sons would give them a good deal on bulk hauls

i would still work on getting 2 wreckers to service the national seashore for 1000 bucks 7 days a week 24hrs a day

Well wait until you here what happened to me May 31st at 5:30 pm coming off north beach road. I need an attorney. Pulled over at the exit of PINS boundary by "Rouge Ranger matt"...he asked to search my vehicle..I said NO...he said get out of the vehicle...put your hands behind your back... you're under arrest. I said"for WHAT"...DUI..I said" I haven't had a drink "..
He then wrote me SEVEN violations including...DUI,REFUSAL TO SUBMIT, 2 SPEEDING VIOLATIONS, UNSAFE OPERATION, TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVISE, and POSSESSION OF PEREPHENILA(MARIJUANA PIPE) ....i DON'T OWN A PIPE!!!!!!!??, WTF ya'll. This guy has the same MO and I'm not making this up. He has pulled over at least four guys on these boards with this BS including Skipper, Pete Morales, Snake, and Boliver. He pulls you over with a BS excuse (Skipper-I could not see your front plate) WTF. Anyway, I was arrested, my truck towed, and now face 7 charges in federal court because I would not let this guy search my truck WITHOUT probable cause!!! You see, if the officer can make up something to arrest you for, he no longer needs probable cause. I could sure use some help from anybody who has had any unjustified treatment from the new PINS staff now.I will have a lawyer soon(I hope) and please help to stop this mistreatment. I was RAILROADED...If anybody really cares about the big brother BS going.. Please help. They want to put me in Jail for this and it is all not true. I was drinking Ozarka for Gods sake and he was pissed because I said no to an unresonable search of my vehicle...is this still the USA my family died for in wars for this country Exclamation
