Was on the beach entrance by 6am, but we still had 30miles to go to reach our destination. Waynes World & friend following... Beach driving was excellent at both the North end even south by the 30mm. Didnt need to use 4wd till about the 17-18 area. Real thick though around 20 to 25mm.
One fool was blocking the low rd around the 22 and had to drop it in 4w-lo to get around them! (real thick there)
Then it smoothed out nice again about the 28. We got to the 30 prolly by 7am...Nobody down there was going new speed limit cept near camp sites & the thick stuff.
Mudmauler & friend (sorry bad on names) along with Frenchie showed up about 10 min behind us.

Caught lots of small sharks, Many big whiting & rabbit also had a Blue.
Lost a couple hits on the close rods in...(man Mudmauler can really run FAST. never saw someone sprint to a rod so fast)

Another angle. Man the rod tower rabbit built worked great. Keeps all the grass off the big shark bait line.

Whats left of chunk of ray that was way out. Was out there for over 8hrs, you can see it had
one pick up but just barely missed the hook!!!

All loaded up and ready to head back....We didnt get into any big ones but thats shark fishing.
Had a great time down there & cant wait to go back.
DID NOT SEE ONE TURTLE ALL DAY.

nice pics guys! I like that white dodge with the front rod rak. looks like a good fishin machine!

I went SBH on saturday. didnt get much until sunset when the trout stared bitting our croaker. me and a buddy each got a 23" and i lost another. what a perfect day.
