Everyone,
The time is at hand to unite and take a stand.
Citizens for Access and Conservation “C.A.C.” fired the first shot over the bow this morning. A request for relief from PINS mismanagement was officially sent out today.

Please take time to read the request and follow the link to the webpage and become a member so our voices can be heard.

Great job on that request, my thanks to all who had a hand in it.

I joined CAC yesterday, but I'll add a contribution through PayPal to help you keep up the fight.

Right On! I am tired of the Superintendent, Joe Escoto, and Chief Ranger, Dede Mladucky, treating the public as if we are some "necessary nuisance" rather than guests or customers. In reality, they work for us. I think if we don't let them know things will only get worse. As I have said before I have in the past always been partners with the park people in making the Seashore a better place for both man and the creatures who live there but apparently this new group doesn't care for, want, or need any help or advice from the park's most loyal users and fans.

Small world part of this is I got a call from Jack E. right after my mess and Jack (a retired lawyer from Houston and good one) didn't remember me until I reminded him he did my will. Jack and others put a lot of time and effort into this and I will support them...also I am preparing something along the same lines directed at the parking issues. In a sense they are the same issues just manifesting in different ways.

I agree that the 15 mph speed limit will possibly be more harmful to the turtles.
When I am driving 15 mph I am looking at the surf.
When I am driving 25 mph I am watching the beach in front of my truck so I don't hit anything.
Lot's of good info in those documents, thanks for all the work.

You talked me into it, Mr. Golla. I'm in, and happy to be a part of this group, even though I've never driven or fished the PINS. It's still a dream at this point.

This thread deserves it's own 11 pages of posts. And TroutSlayer - a genuine thanks for all your efforts to focus attention on our eroding rights.
