Cheers y'all and happy memorial day! Remember those who have fallen in battle and those who have served too. Please take a few minutes to listen to this clip from Glenn Beck. Even if you can take or leave him, this WILL choke you up and make you proud at the same time................................................... IF you're a real American!!!

Excellent post. Well, being Memorial Day, I'll take a shot at this one from memory, thinking of all who have paid the price for us:

In Flander's fields, where poppies blow,
between the crosses, row on row that mark our place
And in the sky, larks still bravely singing fly,
scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead, short days ago,
we lived, felt dawn, saw sunsets glow,
