This was posted on another board and I feel the family and friends of the loved ones can use as many prayers as possible.
I know nothing of the event other than what I found on the newspaper and what was posted.

I am leaving this short message to let everyone here know that Larry Flak "FlakMan" was killed in a boating accident in Houma, LA. Not too much is know about the accident, but would everyone pray for me and the rest of his friends and family. I will truly miss my fishing buddy and one of my best friends. He was a great great guy. If im able to I will post times for the funeral services. thanks to all in advance. |
article I found on Houma's newspaper

Please take some time to say a prayer for everyone involved in this terrible accident. Family and friends included. |

Unfortunately the news is true. I spoke with our fishing buddy, Chris Mayo, who confirmed that Larry Flak Flakman was killed in that accident last night. He and the others were fishing in an oilman's tournament.
It is tough to lose a buddy like that. He and I have been to Venezuela twice peacock bass fishing and fishing together numerous other times at Matagorda, PINS, Goose Island and Baffin Bay. It is the ultimate shock at this point.
My deepest sympathies go out to Ms. Deana right now. I can't even imagine how she is handling this.
In happier times at Lake Guri, Venezuela

OMG!!! I am shocked. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort that he died doing what he loved, fishing.
Prayers and thoughts here... |
