To all who missed out, man you missed one big party with good folks, good food and good drink.

Ran into my old pal Snooker Ed and he was particularly disappointed that couple of other buds didn't join us. I won't mention their names, but their initials are TD & IMS. Said he had tickets for you fellas and everything.

Now IMS hits the ground about 3:30 am, which about 30 minutse ahead of me, so I can kinda understand his side. I told my boss I would be in around 8 or so and her eI am.

I am not sure what TD's hrs are, but best of my recolection, it aint early Laughing Laughing Laughing

Sure wish you guys could have made it. You could have left early, like a lot of folks did and I promise you would have had a blast.

There's always next year!

Glad it was a success. Mike Hummel and Lago were there and they said it was packed!

There were a few variables involved besides just getting up early. I can't use short notice especially in this situation. However I haven't seen much of the wife since I got back from up north. I just had to spend some time with her because she enjoys my company oh so much, an I know ya'll agree with that...............................don't cha? I will just have to reach into my bag of magical tricks and pull something out to make it up to The porkfetus.....anything that starts with a fifth should work....ha ha. I'm not taliking about fifth amendments, I'm talking jug stuff. i'm glad ya'll had a bodasious time. I did hang out at the house with the Dog and his bride for awhile and heard the GOOD NEWS.....

Thanks IMS . your choice of spending time with Debbie is a wise one, I can assure you. When the wife isn't happy, no one is happy.

And Porkfetus and the fifth .....makes me laugh just thinking about it Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

OK TD ---break the GOOD news--your dream job or is TD jr in the basket ?

Gotta give it up for your fishin/frying/Hewitt South buds

I had my chance to go but since the little woman is on call tonight and the entire Mother's Day weekend I was either going to take her out to eat or cook something at home. It turns out I went to HEB Plus and got some Brown Shrimp to compare with the White Shrimp I had. I took both out of the freezer and could not tell the difference by looking at them. Methinks I got the brownies the first time from the freezer. Anyhow they were good!

See if you can get Mike Morgan to recapture the "Be All You Can Be Award" from the Church at the SEA retreat this weekend.

P.S. make sure you zip up your sleeping bag! Smile

TD jr. is on the way. Wife's about two months pregnant.
I wanted to name the kid Tyler Jay Stan Baxter but I'm not sure she's going for it.
Sorry I missed the party, but we got up early to come to houston for mother's day. Also going to see Guy Clark in conroe this evening.

As I expected!! CONGRATULATIONS to you both. TD, we really need to discuss the name you have picked out Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have not had the pleasure to meet your wife, but I know she has to be one very special lady to put up with you (and Tyler and stan and jay and ME).

Congratulations again TD.

Need to get together soon and celebrate

Thanks, Rowsey.

Turns out Dree won the drawing out of 500 people to meet and greet w/ Guy after the show. Of course I weasled my way backstage too and got a pic w/ the legend.

Jeff,
I'm open for name suggestions. How bout Hewitt South Baxter?

Top Dog,

I like that name. A bit of class, with meaning!!!

Hewitt South Baxter. That definitely has a "ring" to it.

Now for the real deal. you gotta sell mom on the name. It don't make a hoot what you nor I think, even though you do have some input.

I speak from experience here Aaron, mom must approve!!

I really think that is a cool, cool, definitely unique name, and it could be for a boy or a girl!!
