Thats crappy I hate thieves, this country is to easy on them. If we cut their hand off when they get caught, stealing in this country would almost come to a hault. My opinion only. Stealing your dog is almost like stealing one of your kids. Again thats why I keep 2 chows in the house , its like having 2 loaded 45's just walking around keeping an eye on their turf. Someone breaks into my house I will find only blood stains and maybe a finger or two if they don't eat them. They are also very loving dogs. Mad

Have you checked with Animal Control, just in case your dog bolted during the burglary?

Also, look through the classified section of the newspaper and check Craigslist:

You might get lucky and find the varmint that took your pet.

This is very possible. It happened with my son's dog. We were lucky and found him wondering around the neighborhood a few blocks away. Put up posters all over the place and check the pound and the classified.

My buddies dog was taken several years ago - most intelligent lab I've ever seen. The dog was missing for over two months and after countless posters hung around town and visits to the pound he had almost given up. One day he got a call from a tattoo parlor in Dallas. Snoop had wandered into the shop still wearing his original tags and the owner called my buddy asking if he was missing his dog. He was 'abducted' from College Station.
