| Good news no doubt.. I just dont see why there has to be a parking lot for people to fish the pier though.. Its not like we dont park on the beach anyhow.. |

| Thanks for the info, Ladyfish. I was out by the Packery this morning and saw they were laying the blacktop for the parking lot at the boat ramps. I swear it's time that is done, but how do they get their timing on projects so screwed up???? There is only a small window left for decent fishing at BHP, so they wait on that for months, but do the Packery ramp work when they have all winter to finish it. |

The parking lot is a handicap access issue, w/o pavement, access could be deemed to be inaccessable to HC persons.
Da, it would be harder for the developers of the new projects to advertise ans sell w/o the parking/boat launch finished...
PS: they aren't worried about the restrooms, there new places will have them.
Thanks for the info Ladyfish |

| Any chance they might actually get to work this week? We will be in Friday and was really hoping the pier would be open again. If not I guess it will be packery. |

As of earlier today, still no equipment; therefore, if they started tomorrow and completed in 2 weeks, it would not be until after Thanksgiving.
Not trying to be a bummer, trying to encourage to put in representatives of the people in what we call government to do as we request. |
