Got up this morning at daylite and wished I was fishing. So I made it to the Bait Bucket for a pint of shrimp on the way. Henry scored two dozen finger mullet on the way out to the end. Water conditions were perfect with large schools of mullet everywhere. My first two cast were cut off so I added a piece of wire and a shinner hook. Next cast was a 32" Red and the fun was on. Caught 6 Red's, 3 oversized and 3 slots by 1145am. Saw many schools of fish during the morning, angle fish, tarpon, Kings, Smacks, and of course Red's... Great day on the rocks... Cool

Nice report. I was on the south jetty this morning. Caught lots of fish as well.

Caught two there yesterday - right in the vicinity of "bust 'yer arse rock". (an appropriately named chunk of granite). Laughing

Thats awesome titeline, sounds like a great day and makes me wish I wasn't working today. May have to slip off this week early or even better go in late. I am new to the forum but I have talked to you several times at the Packery. I will introduce myself next time.

We went back to south packery last night and it was on fire. Bull reds are running like crazy, kingfish right off the jetty. Mullet as far as your good eye can see.
