Been seeing some big reds lately and decided to make a night trip. Started off good thinking we would have enough dayligh to catch some bait, and get set up on our spot, and we almost did.... Ended up we found a guy broke down, and towed him for about 30 mins. Id hope they would have done it for me, and I figured we could use the fishing karma. After that we were back on the water, and met up with some friends of ours and anchored up for the night. They had the long haul and came from Arroyo city, said there is alot of debris in the water down there. Anyways we managed some nice oversized reds, and some decent trout. Woke up and started drifiting and had real good action first 2hrs of daylight.

| That 1st pic looks like Clifton. He helped me get off the beach during that red tide event in sept 06 when I got 4 flat tires (hardhead spines). He spent about 8 hours helping us (complete strangers). Thanks again Clifton. Nice fish BTW |

WOW - bet that was some good fighting. Good catches all around. Did you get any weight or length for that first red. Just curious. Thanks for the report. _________________ Save the seagrass......Shoot some ducks |
