Has anyone on this board ever used the Black Salty ?
Did you have any luck ?
Were can I find them on the island or around the JFK ?
How much are they ?
Can I get live croaker now and how much are they now ?
How much are live shrimp now ?
Coming down for a week just checking ahead on the live bait stuation. Went to Cabelas and got enough artificals for all of us but some of my crew only want to fish with Live bait. Shocked

Never tried the BS...you can get Croaks and plenty of live shrimp now anywhere along the JFK. Dunno on prices.
When ever I decide to use bait I just cast up some finger mullet for free. Idea

They make great first time fish for your kids, hard to kill. As far as bait, I don't know about that so much.

I agree with the others, buy a cast net, and cast up some bait fish. They are free, and what ever you net is what the fish are currently eating.

If going for live bait, go with live shrimp, as there are cheaper, and if they start turning belly up in the bucket, just throw them on ice and cook them when you get home. Can't do that with piggys or croaker.

I tried them a couple of years ago at the P.A. jetty also, not one bite.
