Johnny is alive and well and still on top of things. He still posts from time to time on Nicks board. It appears that the beach access blockers are showing their "heads" again so I would expect things to heat up on the fishing/political side of our little world again soon. You can check out some of his recent posts at www.breakawayusa.com.
Just remember, that if it weren't for Johnny and those like him, you may be escorted from fishing the beach south of Packery by armed guards. It has happened in the past.
