Finally a report from the pier, there a lot of fishermen on today there were a few small whitting and a lot of hard heads, We manage to put two nice reds in the box both 27'' one weighted 5.7oz and the other 7.1oz lost 2 other the surf was rough, water was dirty ,but the birds were working, should be a great weekend, Some day we will learn how to post a picture lol

What did you manage the reds on if you don't mind my asking? A friend and I fished the hell out of PINS today with lures, shrimp, whiting, and fishbites - no real success. I expected a slow morning due to the moon, but this was BAD.

The wife and i will be fishing the pier about the middle of next month. Do you think ther will be trout at night under the lights and will the Red Fish fishing be over for the summer?

Its been running late this year with dirty water and wind the spanish mackerals are'nt here yet ,last year they were here the last week of feb. 2 weeks into march ,it's now picking up, looks good for you ,Water temp. around 67 should be be 70 to 75 in two week hope to see you there. David and Nancy we have the yellow cart with tx. license lol

The wife and i will probably fish the second gut during the day and under the lites at night. You can recognise us as my rods are custom and i think look good. I am short and fat and my wie is tall and ---- . Hope to meet you'all . We will be there the week of the 18th of april. That Monday the 14th thru the 17th.
