I'll have to tell ya it was pretty tuff making that left turn this morning at the end of my street which dead ends at the lagoon/laguna shores rd. The left turn more or less faces me in the direction of that four letter word
w-o-r-k. I think this morning would have been a jamming slam bam morning, nice cool temps., with a possible light breeze strong enough just to drift you ever so quietly across those sandy pot holes. The first thing i see every morning is the backyard, kinda dark on my side but much brighter as i scan over to the island side. Most of the time I just make that turn like its nothing but then there is those mornings , like this morning, where the hair stands up on the back of my neck like a tail tell sign. I just have to bite my lip, whats left of it, and go to wurk.
Yall have a good day......i'll try. ims _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

I feel your pain but at least you live there! I on the other hand have a 10.5 hour drive to get there and a non resident license cost me $60.00+ last summer. Shouldn't someone who was born in Texas [not to mention Corpus] get a "native" discount?! It's 36 degrees up here and MIGHT get into the 70's today. We had a few inches of snow and temps in the mid 20's last week. My home lake was 46 - 50 degrees last Sunday. Even in some backwater that is way shallow and heats up quickly the highest I saw was 53.6 degrees. Bring on the HEAT! _________________ Dave

I love it when it's calm like that - my boat doesn't like the rought stuff anyway. Now if we could just get the water to clear up a bit. _________________ Save the seagrass......Shoot some ducks |
