The family will be leaving to San Diego on Saturday morning. It's only a 1300 mile drive one way.. It is a bi-yearly family Christmas get together...Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year. Leave some fish for us........

Been there and done that several times. What's crazy is that it takes longer to get out of Texas than it does to get from El Paso to San Diego.
Have a safe trip and if you get to Trader Joe's be sure to try the Charles Shaw Wine - "Two Buck Chuck" And don't forget to take a trip to Squidco!

we're going the other way to Montgomery, AL on Sunday morning. Not 1300, only 870, but still a lot. Would love to fish a bit in Mobile. About 4 years ago we went, and they had a kayak fishing tournament around the USS Alabama there.
