Got over there at 2pm. Water clarity was greatly improved on both sides.

Fished all over the surf side down to double row, then the channel side at bow rock...couldn't keep a shrimp out without getting sheephead bites. Ended up with my limit, and threw back a ton of good sized ones.

I fished mullet in the surf break at dusk hoping the redfish would be there again, but no luck either.

Not sure what I was doing wrong, but I guess the trout were all the way at the end.

A friend of mine fished the outside end out of a boat between 3-5pm and caught six trout up to 4lbs, a redfish, and some sheephead.

Great report Matt.
Besides double row and bow rock, what are some other named spots on N Jetty?
Don't need the locations, just looking for names.
That Jetty Boat captain sure is friendly. Very Happy

Tombstone is a great area from now till mid Feb. Also the surf side right across from Tombstone. We also throw bass worms for the big trout over there, they love them.
