I need to uodate a few things on the site and I have not seen a Bob Hall report - If anyone has a recent report I would appreciate it. I bet they are getting Pomps, Whiting, bluefish, slot and oversized reds and some pup blacktips.

Tyler,
Maybe we need to do a recon run for reporting reasons. If we can get Topdog and Snookered to access Nates's cabin, we would have a fantastic report, how much of it would be relevant to fishing, I'm not sure , but a fine report nonetheless

I'll spring for the advil, if you can corral the other two dudes. Better yet, we can just go my cabin across from BI and they can stop by if they want to!!

I am seriously think9ing about a Friday afternoon thru aturday afternoon trip.

Can't do it this weekend. My dad turns 89 on Saturday and we're doing a cooking party with Norwegian specialties.

We will get down there sometime!

ROTFLMAO, you two are awesome....I'm old school though, more of an aspirin afficianado.....

Nate is in Floresville for a while, so that's out....

HOWEVER, I JUST received a call from Blanchette, and he is headed this way tomorrow from tarrant county and is looking to do a day trip somewhere, maybe down south.....funny this thread came up.....

we both have obligations saturday night, but something could be in the works at least for a cruise south.....stoner150, pm me details on where your shack is, and we might drop by, IF everything pans out.....then again the social director hasn't weighed in on the plans yet, so who knows what will happen...like I said, things are just crawling out from under the rocks as we speak......

is BIB close enough for the landcut, and do we actually HAVE to fish? Very Happy

ULM, Nighthawk, Shamrock and KRS have been excellent for good trout and redfish on plastics. Cold Fronts are stacking up the fish in Winter haunts. Choose your location depending on the weather pattern.
Baffin, I don't know because I won't burn the gas to fish Brown Tide Sad .
Should be getting better soon.

Actually i'd like to say thanks Tyler for the great fishing forum that you have here. It has really helped out this Bluff Rat with his spelling and reding comprension. Very Happy

I think the wind is suppossed to blow pretty good this weekend so it sounds like a great time for a day trip to me.

Congrats IMS on your recent accomplishments. Give me a heads up when that fish fry rolls around.

Snookered and TopDog

Looks like a day trip on Saturday is all I can squeeze in this weekend. The Christmas luncheon for the residents at Trisun Senior Center is Sunday, and my dad is there, so I'll have to make that.

We can gang up at my place just across from BIB and fish the surrounding area, hang out at the cabin and whatever, or we hit Hewit South if it works out. Sure will be hard to leave and come back Sat afternoon.............

Will post an update tomorrow as plans are finalized
