Good to see you there Tyler.

What a great finish to a great tourney format. I expect great things to come and a 5-stop series next year. I'll leave that to the powers that be and other decision makers. I must say I was a tad nervous at the first tourney in POC about keeping the redfish alive. However, it's not rocket science and is not a problem whatsoever. In fact, I beleive the kayak tourneys (both) had a lower mortality rate than the power boaters. I think there was one dead weighed in at POC and I think all Rockport weigh-ins were live.

We prayed for wind and hoped for gusts of 20 to 25 mph. We didn't get the 20 but it blew just enough. We fished from South Bay all the way to North Estes. Finding our fish and some upgrades along the way. Using Gold Spoons and Bone Spooks we brought a couple of nice reds for the weigh in. Slack tides caused us to look for wind driven current and that is what produced.

Back at the truck to get the fish in the O2 and a quick change and off to the weigh in.

Plenty of stories 'bout the big one that got away and, "I was on them yesterday." Of course to our surprise Noel G. hadn't kept his 23 incher, as well as a couple others.

A great Tourney and a lot of fun, Fairly sure though that Greg Brou might be the oldest there so I guess I'll let him have all the glory when we go out

I hope to see more participation and fun for the coming year. Thanks ScoTT and Jim for putting on a great show.

That was fun and it was great to finally meet you. Can't wait for next year! Maybe your dad can sell some of his rods in the classifieds Smile
