For those of you who have been viewing my getting shafted post take a look at the view count. These kinds of topics and back and forths are what is really needed to keep this forum alive. It is part of the reason I started the topic.
In the old days we had these kinds of threads all the time and a lot of activity on the forum. Today the forum is damn near dead and is going to die if we don't start having some activity.
So I suggest that if you have an opinion regarding the getting the shaft topic or any other topic, I personally invite you to belly up to the bar, jump in, and express your opinion. That's what a democracy is all about and the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
OR,
Start your on topic about a subject you have an opinion on and see if you can get others to get involved with their opinions.
OR,
You can say nothing and watch this forum die.
There is a reason TPWD no longer monitors this forum. Guess why??

The TPWD is inherently a political agency. With record excess funds at the state level, they pissed away a chance to keep a state park, instead letting it be sold to a political donor. So, they prefer Republican forums, like Dos Frios, where there is something more to their liking.

No sure what the website forum you posted has to do with hunting, fishing, and the issues surrounding same. It just seems to be a general whack at conservatives in general.
It is a political agency, but I don't agree with your analysis at all. They are much more oriented toward the commie b@stard pinko enviro-turd leming activists. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease and these commie b@stard pinko enviro-turds are the squeekest get in your face wheels out there.
But I do agree that money is very important and with worthless jacoffs like Soros around the commie b@stard pinko enviro-turds have all the money they can spend on their commie b@stard pinko enviro-turd agendas to force their commie b@stard pinko enviro-turd agendas on an unsuspecting asleep at the wheel public.
