I fish there several times a year, never in a waterfront lodge. Turn the dock lights on before dark, to keep the fish there. Trout, snook, reds are in the Arroyo. No grocery stores. Bring what you need. Eat at Chilly Willy's(the only restaurant, and it's good). Several charter boats can do a day trips. A great fishing vacation destination. Take kayaks, if you have them Enjoy!
Probably other forumites will contribute more info. TexasJim _________________ TexasJim

| Appreciate the insight! We are hoping the kids will get some good fishing off the dock mainly. |
