No more withdrawal symptoms. Been suffering with them for over a week. Finally went out today about 10:00 in the morning and fish for a couple hours, mainly at my honey-hole. Seems like 2 hours is my go-to time on water lately. I wound up with three keeper trout and two reds all of which were released. An interesting thing was the retrieve I had to use to catch most fish. Normally I cast straight out in front of me while I'm drifting and bounce it up and down. That didn't work at all today. I wound up casting at about 2:00 let it sink to the bottom keeping my rod tip low and twitching it keeping the bait on the bottom. Kind of like you're fishing for flounder. That's how I was able to catch most fish today and the bite was pretty sensitive. Caught all on either tequila or purple soft plastics.
In this picture it looks like I'm choking this 19-in trout to death. Actually I was trying to keep her from jumping out of my hand for the picture. When I put them back in the water he swam off with no problem.
