We were down from 7/1 to yesterday afternoon. Almost throwing distance to the south part of the State Park. It was hot, good wind, ok water. We were sending bait out (fish bites, skip jack, dead shrimp, and some salted mullet) to 160 or so yards. And we caught more freakin gafftop than I have ever seen in my life. Virtually every cast. Great fish fries. I forgot how good they can be. Anyway, fun was had by all FYI, that sand was like POWDER, and the beach was skinny. No 4x4 and you would not get there.

That should have been NORTH of the north boundary of the park... heh.

Actually, south of Beach Access Road 2 (which is where we came on).
