Parking lot of the Flour Bluff Whataburger when I was picking up breakfast.

Two surf rods secured by a bike cable to a rod holder bolted to the tailgate extender. They took off the bolts securing the tailgate extender and snatched it all in one piece.

Lost two 12' Fenwick's, two Penn Fierce 7000's, a 4 place aluminum rod holder, the tailgate extender and a case of water.

This is the second time in two years, I'm starting to get rather annoyed.

Man that sucks. Sorry that happened to you. I always leave someone at the truck if I'm running in anywhere for that reason. If you're alone, maybe try curbside? Man that sucks

Sorry to hear that john. I'd be more than a little annoyed. Did you check with Whataburger to see if they have security cameras outside that they can pull a video from?

Wow, bold parking lot hit. The parking spaces are very visible from inside too. Have a sinking feeling just hearing about it. I've been accosted several times by panhandlers at the ice machine just down the street and no longer get ice there.

I think the issue here is, they probably do have camera's, but just for their own use, not their customers in their lot.

They likely don't want to get involved in an issue they believe doesn't involve them.

You would likely have to have the police force the issue or get a court order to release the footage.

This is unbelievable this happened that fast, right there...
