We decided to head down for the day. Was happy to see the walkway on the north jetty has been completed. Surf was 3/5 and only managed smalls in the surf reds, black drum, whiteing, sheepshead, bonnethead, and a couple hardheads on live shrimp.
Moved back into the channel found some larger sheepshead under a cork and a nice trout 19.25". Ended up with five sheepsheads 17-19" and the one trout.
The weather turned out to be prefect not as forecasted, left the rocks at 1400 as the front approached. Tight Lines Y'all |
