Good evening to all a cordial greeting, I have a long time without publishing in this forum, I had a lot of bad luck, and I had covid 19, thank God I was vaccinated but even so I had several weeks of conbalesencia, I am still recovering, for the same reason I neglected my blog, but I am back thanks to God, therefore here it is my last fishing trip to Playa del Carmen, just follow the link below.-

Now it is a huge city, it used to be a very quiet place like Puerto Morelos is today _________________ pescar es mi pasion (fishing is my passion)

Quintana Roo got a major facelift after Hurricane Gilbert, and a huge influx of American expatriates.
Back in the late 80s, you could still dicker for your weekly rental car rate at Cancun airport.
Of course paved roads ended just south of Tulum and it was another 20 miles of white sand road to Ascension Bay.
We used to pick restaurants because they had a power line to the thatch roof, and walk to the dock to see what fish was just filleted.
The Mayan people loved us back then, and balked at their status with the Mexicans. |
