...what is being done. This is the spoil island between Island Moorings cut and Point of Mustang, between East Flats and the Ship Channel. Bunch of big equipment in there and was just curious what they are doing. No road access to the island, only by boat. Bet they scared a bunch of feral hogs out of there.

They've been grooming that for a few months. My best guess is they are building dikes / levees / berms for dredge material for the deepening of the ship channel. They've put rocks and built another off Dagger Island . Haven't seen any mention of them anywhere.
