Made a short trip to North Pins yesterday around 5pm. Well, the beaches are clean, but its all in the water. Surf was saturated with plastic of all shapes and sizes. Snagged a bag about every other cast. Lots of sparkly shimmering bits too. Unlikely my arties stood out much at all. Fair number of hungry birds looking for dinner, but mostly diving at trash and coming up disappointed. Didn't bother with a long rod due to all the trash in the water. Other than that, water was pretty decent and waves were halfway organized and far apart. Beach was empty.

Thanks for the report and yeah that makes sense as there was a bunch of plastic on the high tide line prior to the Laura surge.
