I have a 2013 Haynie HO with a Merc Racing 300xs. Got the boat in 2014 with 14 hours on it. I

Got cut off. I have put about 420 hard hours on the Merc. Only problem was a burned up air compressor. I drilled out the tell tell and that eliminated clogs in the coolant line associated with the compressor. No other issues. Motor runs very strong. With good fuel, good oil, ethanol treatment, very regular maintenance and regular use, any of those motors, including a Merc, will do you right, in my opinion. The Haynie is a great ride. Needs about 2
