Anyone been out to the surf and fishing lately. Last two times I was out there the weed was terrible and I had to come home shortly after getting there. I'd like to go out Friday but I'm hesitant.

I fished pins and sbh the last 3 days. PINS at 22 on Monday and 15 Tuesday. Monday was rough with wind and currents, but not much seaweed. Tues and weds were a bit of a grind but manageable. Came home with 4 black drum between 22-24" . Caught and released a barely legal speck and drum. All caught closer in.

Ugly brown and very rough last night north of Packery. Weed has subsided, but it didn't look too sporty.

Was just about to let you know what I found at lunch, around Access Rd. 3.
Still rough & brown, greenish water out past the 4th bar, BUT..... a fresh batch of shoal grass washing in.
With the rains coming (and the blob in the Bay of Campeche now), Friday might have been 'iffy' at best?! Crying or Very sad

Beauty, but Zia, stop releasing breeders in your canal. Pretty soon the tourists will figure it out and be surrounding every public space near them. SHHHHHHHHHHHHH
