can anyone tell me what they know about nemo cay rentals. airbnb did a bait and switch on me and doubled booked me so now i have to seed what kind of deal they will make me. this is my last go around as medical tests is taking a toll on me .

Hope you get treated fair by the greedy landlords! Double booking is a crime that goes un-punished!

Standard practice in the airline industry (at least until this year). They would double-book 4-8 seats per flight on purpose, all well knowing they would "probably" get an equivalent amount of cancellations. What happens when they get the full reserved manifest plus the overbooked ones? Basically - first come first served.

If you review your ticket contract (not your boarding pass), you are only guaranteed "a" flight on most airlines, not the flight you book. Same as seating, you are only guaranteed "a" seat on the airplane per person, not necessarily the one you reserved.

Luckily, this year hasn't been much of an issue. Rolling Eyes Wink Shocked Very Happy
