Thanks Guys,
Larry, you can only keep a five gallon bucket of SEASHELLS. Removal of any historical artifacts from the National Seashore is strictly prohibited.

Johnny, Thanks for the arrowhead identification.

I spoke with the TP&W guys in Austin today and it sounds very good that we may have a new record. Chris is really excited and it will make all of use very proud if he takes the record.

Oddly as it may seem, Chris learned to fly-fish on his own about four years ago. Chris in turn taught me and his younger brother Justin how to fly-fish about a year ago and we've all been hook on the flyrod bug ever since. Chris also ties all of his own flies and has taught us to tie as well. It all started when Capt. Billy Sandifer "Infected" Chris with the fly-fishing bug and he's been like a sponge watching and reading everything he can from the likes of Casey Smartt, Dean Thomas, Scott Summerlett & Billy Trimble.

It would really make us proud to see something good come from all of his hard work and effort.

Thanks again,
Charlie

You're welcome. Actually, the prohibition is against removing ALL artifacts, not just the historic ones . That dart point is prehistoric; it comes from an era before the Native Americans had bows and arrows, which is why I avoid calling it an arrowhead.

Congrats Chris! Hard work pays off. I remember when we fished last together and saw Chris go after those Jacks we got into with a fly rod and ended up way down the beach fighting that fish. Impressive record for and very well earned. Cool
