|
|
Just got back from our usual October trip. It was most definitely slower than the last two years, at least for me, but we did end up finding a few fish by the end of the trip. All in all, another great trip. We will miss our May trip there due to taking the kids to Disney, so unfortunately it will be a full year until we are back. Sitting in a deer stand now already looking forward to next year!

thanks for the report - glad to see smiles and nice catches - also nice kayak
sizing your photos down first helps those of us reading on computer screens, and also reduces the bandwidth to load the photos faster:

(doesn't matter for folks reading on their phones) |

it may be possible to resize your photos on your photoserver (edit image) and fix that without even editing your post.
If you want to change it the hard way, resize the photos on your computer, save them with new filenames, upload the new resized photos, and edit your post with the new html's.
Otherwise, they're great photos and can probably remain just as they are.
Love the edit - excellent job and awesome fishing results.
I recognize marker 60 pass at LHL now
(I missed a big sow trout in the pass last April)
If you've ever visited TexasKayakFisherman forum, another good place to post your thread (edit, select all, copy, then paste)

and of course great forums discussing kayaks and rigging |

Were you able to complete the Texas slam on any of the days? _________________

Ha! Good eye! Yeah we fished all over aransas as much as the wind would allow us. Ive only been out in my kayaks a handful of times there, or in the salt at all, so it takes me a while to really find any kind of consistent bite. Lack of experience in the area and lack of experience in that type of fishing too. Itll take me a lifetime to learn half as much as a lot of yall. Its awful fun learning as I go though!

I guess it depends on how you count it....If they all have to be keepers then I didnt. If its-red, speck, flounder then I got 3 slams....if you need a drum added to it then I only got 1 slam.
Keeperwise id always end up with 3 of the 4.
