Will be coming down in a couple of weeks staying at a rent house on the Laguna out of Flour Bluff. Hoping someone can give advice for wading or kayaking the area. been several years since we been down to the coast, and my kids (23 & 26) are looking forward to getting into trout or reds. Any advice is welcome. In reading the recent posts we may also try the surf below state park on park road 22. We are so looking forward to the getaway! [/b]

Bird island basin is usually a pretty good kayaking area look at for boats and fish around the spoils water has been pretty low lately so if you are not catching much around the spoils find a drain and fish it good luck
