| I heard a really reliable bad report on this today. How much of PINS and mustang does she own? Does it extend up to San Jose Island? combination of wind and cold water upwelling does not sound good for surf prospects for awhile. This thing is a mystery to me. Is this pretty early in the summer for this to happen? |

Not at all. Mid-June all the way through August, with July being the harbinger for bad Fall 'events'......
The temp readings at Bob Hall don't indicate any change in temps, over the last 3 weeks. The change in longshore current convergence point is the reason for much of what's been washing up lately. Winds are howling, water is brown, but it's not by any means cold (according to Blucher). Have not got any live stations down on PINS or points south to look at, so if you got a reliable source, I'd pay attention. |

| Ok I hope you are right. But I believe my source. 2 footers and cool and brown past the 30. Hope it does not last. |

^^^^ That would certainly qualify!!!
I wondered if it was going to fire up. This weekend, the wind was dead out of the south. Buckle up and bust those hardhead recipes out for the 'All Things Tasty' page of CF.com. |

| It gets colder the farther south you go. Had one a couple of weeks ago that cleared quickly to keep you fingers crossed. Jeff Wolda |
