Hit water about 1 this afternoon and the bite was not killer but enough excitement to keep me busy until I found a pod keeper size trout. I got six or seven trout, the biggest one in the picture is 19, working sand pockets on the side of grass beds.
On the way back in I stopped at my two minute honey hole where the ashes of my best fishing partner are scattered, my chocolate lab, Kokopelli. I talked to him and ask him for some Mojo and he rewarded me with this 25 inch redfish.
