I'm going out tomorrow morning Tyler so I'll let you know how it goes. I was going to go today but I was supposed to have a double header softball game tonight which got cancelled due to high tides at North Beach having the Outfield underwater

I went SBH this afternoon and the water is clear and the weed was not too bad around the bowl. It was a little thick down towards the sticks. Steady action of small fish (whiting, pompano, hard head and black drum) on fish bites. Some finger mullet swimming around. Probably try again tomorrow afternoon.

I'm hoping for some good reports. It may change my mind about where I'll be fishing this weekend.

Just because I am the nice guy that I am, I may go out and wet some lines , just for you, hickok. Depending on that 4 letter word of course, "work".

Tyler we are headed down tomorrow. Are there any preferred locations in the surf between the south jetty and the Packery?

Went down couple miles - PINS - a couple miles after the end of the pavement, sargassum scattered along the beach -stopped a couple of what looked like pretty salty fishermen - they had been down farther , if i understood them correctly it got worse the farther they got.

Where I stopped , i threw a soft rubber lure - for a bit, wasnt too bad , weed wise, but no hits. I put out a line with fish bites and got quite a few - what felt like and was very small - bait size whiting.

If I were being forced to fish next couple days, I would go down to deeper water, 20's or so - and put my rod holders on the first sand bar, and flip some good cut whiting , live mullet, whiting head, over into that deep gut. Lot less line in the water to hang onto sargassam. For any newbies reading this, I am not the go to guy for this situation, check ziacatcher, and some of the other saltier guys.
